A room at a home on the Emeryville-Oakland border, located on a quiet street. We are three adults, and 2 quiet cats.
Our neighborhood is composed of retirees, single and partnered professionals, families, 2 daycare facilities, a private grade-school taxi business, 2 building contractors, and an auto repair shop. A 6th -- 12th grade school is located on the next block.
We are a stones throw away from Lanesplitter Emeryville, Pac 'N Save, the Bay Bridge-Emeryville shopping complex (Starbucks, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, Taco Bell, Home Depot, Best Buy, Michaels, Pet Club, Office Depot), AC Transit, MacArthur BART, Kaiser Oakland, PIXAR, Arizmendi Emeryville, IKEA, and Target-Emeryville. The Emeryville Bay Street Shopping Center is just a few more minutes away. We are two BART stops away from UC Berkeley.
The room has three windows; 2 southern and 1 western facing with mini-blinds. The room is equipped with wall sconces, ceiling lighting, and natural sunlight. There is shade from a magnolia tree growing near the southern facing windows. The room has hardwood floors, a closet with a door mirror attached, a closet shelf, and clothing pole inside. There is a 4.4 cubic ft. refrigerator equipped with the room. There is a twin bed in the room that can be used by a potential renter.
Share kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, front and back porches, and backyard. There is on-street parking.
Financial Details and Utilities: Moving In: The total to move in is $xxxx ($925 first month + $925 deposit). Deposit is returned to you within 30 days of moving out, less unpaid bills/damages. Equal split on electricity, water, garbage, and toilet paper/household cleaning supplies, depending on the number of roommates residing. Cable TV, or satellite hook-up is fine - roommate would need to sign-up with the various carriers offering these services for themselves as we have elected not to have cable or satellite for ourselves. There is a physical existing cable in the room. An outlet jack for a land line/DSL is in the room. We have an equal split on our existing cable internet.
No pets, no smoking, and no drinking!
